inp.polri.go.id - West Sumatra. Coordinating Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono paid a working visit to Padang City, West Sumatra, on Tuesday (9/30/2025). 

This visit included a number of strategic agendas aimed at strengthening infrastructure and equitable regional development.

According to the Special Staff of the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Sigit Raditya, one of AHY's main activities in West Sumatra was to be a speaker at the 3rd International Conference on Disaster Mitigation and Management (ICDMM) 2025 which took place at Andalas University (Unand). 

This event was attended as a form of support and sympathy for the earthquake disaster that hit Padang several years ago, as well as to encourage the creation of innovations related to infrastructure resilience and disaster mitigation systems.

“The Coordinating Minister attended the ICDMM seminar at Andalas University not only as a form of support for the earthquake disaster, but also as an effort to encourage the birth of ideas and innovations in strengthening infrastructure resilience and disaster mitigation,” explained Sigit.

This working visit demonstrates the government's commitment to strengthening infrastructure in West Sumatra while improving the quality of disaster mitigation as an effort to protect the local community.
