Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) says that ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum (AIPF) will change rivalry in Indo-Pacific to beneficial cooperation. "Our cooperation are not immune to global challenges and geopolitical rivalry, specifically conflict potential on Indo-Pacific," says President Jokowi when giving his remarks on AIPF side event, Jakarta, Tuesday (9/5/2023). This forum prioritized three main agendas, green infrastructure, strong chain supply, innovative continuous agenda, lastly is inclusive digital transformation and creative economy. The green infrastructure includes the ongoing strengthening of upstream and downstream industry by building strong electric vehicle ecosystem. This ongoing infrastructure development would provide stronger economy for ASEAN. The second main agendas are for ASEAN clean energy transition which requires around 29.4 trillion USD. Due to that case, there needs to be innovative payment scheme through beneficial partnership. The last agenda is inclusive digital transformation and creative economy for the digital economy of ASEAN was predicted to rise up to 1 trillion USD in 2030. With this, the organization aims to adopt digital innovation to support creative economy and micro, small and medium business actors. “With this three main agenda, it is expected that there will be a peaceful, balanced, and prosper indo-pacific. From the contribution of ASEAN state and partners, there are 93 projects worth of 38.2 billion USD. Moreover, there are 73 projects with a potential value of 17.8 billion USD. I hope our effort would bring fruitful result for our people in the region and the world,” conclude Jokowi.
