Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Jakarta's air quality on Sunday morning (24/9/2023) was declared unhealthy by the Jakarta Environmental Agency (DLH), with fine particulate matter (PM2.5) levels ranging from 101 to 199 on the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU). The area of Lubang Buaya in East Jakarta recorded a PM2.5 level of 103, indicating harm to humans, sensitive animals, and potential damage to plants and aesthetics. The "good" category (PM2.5 range: 0-50) signifies no health impact, while "moderate" air quality, affecting sensitive plants and aesthetics, was observed in other Jakarta regions. The global ranking by IQ Air placed Jakarta as the seventh most polluted city with a reading of 118, following cities like Delhi, India (157), Karachi, Pakistan (152), Kuching, Malaysia (136), and Lahore, Pakistan (136). Data from 20 monitoring stations, including Layar Permai in PIK, North Jakarta,  Jalan Raya Perjuangan in Kebon Jeruk,  West Jakarta and Jimbaran in Ancol, North Jakarta, contributed to the air quality assessment.
