Inp.polri.go.id -  Mataram.  Ahead of the upcoming MotoGP event at Mandalika from October 13 to 15, 2023, the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police is set to dispatch an anti-drone team from its Mobile Brigade unit to safeguard the event from potential drone-related disturbances. "Securing the race from all possible disruptions is our main concern, whether it's drones near the circuit, flying objects like balloons and hats, or any unauthorized aerial activities. We are closely working with the Indonesian Military to address these concerns," said Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto, Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, on Monday (9/10/2023). He said that that security measures are set to be in place to manage the event such as  setting up security posts and barriers to prevent overcrowding of people and vehicles. Health checkpoints have also been established to handle any medical emergencies during the race. The deployment of the anti-drone team underscores the commitment to ensuring the safety and success of MotoGP 2023 at Mandalika, Chief Djoko said.  By addressing potential drone-related issues proactively, the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police aims to create an atmosphere where racing enthusiasts can enjoy the competition without any security problems.
