Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) is collaborating with the Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps and traffic directors nationwide to ensure safe and smooth travel for holiday travelers.
ASDP President Director Heru Widodo said on Sunday (9/3/2025) that traffic management strategies are in place, especially as this year’s Lebaran coincides with the Balinese Hindu Day of Silence Nyepi.
Ferry services on the Ketapang in East Java and Gilimanuk in Bali route will be temporarily suspended for Nyepi, and travelers are urged to plan accordingly.
Brigadier General Agus Suryonugroho, the Chief of Traffic Corps, added that "Operasi Ketupat 2025" will manage congestion with strategies like contraflow and one-way traffic, particularly at peak travel times.
ASDP has 69 standby ferries and additional support from Indah Kiat Port. Travelers are encouraged to book tickets in advance via Ferizy to avoid congestion. Proper scheduling and adherence to e-ticketing rules will ensure a smooth holiday journey.
