inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf says the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) not accepting the social assistance is part of their obedience and discipline towards the government rules,

“That is how it is, members of Indonesian National Military (TNI), Indonesian National Police (INP), also ASN, must not accept the social aid. That is the rule, although we have to admit some of them are truly in need, but the rules dictate them to obey the applicable law,” says Saifullah on Thursday (1/2/2025).

Presidential Regulation Number 63 of 2017 concerning the Distribution of Non-Cash Social Assistance states that Social Assistance Recipients are individuals, families, groups or communities who are poor, disadvantaged, and/or vulnerable to social risks.

The Minister of Social Affairs invited all employees of his ministry, social pillars, and partners of the Ministry of Social Affairs to work based on data, so that the distribution of social assistance and other social programs can be delivered on target.

Saifullah also emphasized the importance of monitoring and evaluation so that the performance carried out can be clearly measured.
