inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, along with the Jakarta Maritime Affairs and Agriculture Agency (KPKP), ensured that sacrificial animals at Perumda Dharma Jaya are free from Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) and Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD).

"We have directly observed the business processes at Dharma Jaya, from production to distribution. We also ensured and inspected the cleanliness and health of the cattle, including screening for the FM and LSD," explained Senior Superintendent Victor Dean Mackbon, Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, on Thursday (5/21/2026).

The inspection was carried out as part of routine supervision ahead of Eid al-Adha to ensure that the sacrificial animals circulating in the community are healthy and safe.

He explained that to date, his team has not found any indications of FMD or LSD in the livestock at Dharma Jaya. However, regular monitoring will continue to be conducted to prevent the potential spread of disease.

"Currently, no FMD and LSD has been found in the cattle. We certainly hope that all parties will continue to monitor and supervise each other," concluded Victor.

He added that this monitoring demonstrates the strong collaboration between the police, local government, and the Dharma Jaya Regional Public Company in maintaining the quality of sacrificial animals ahead of Eid al-Adha.

"We hope this preparation will run smoothly until Eid al-Adha is over, so that the public can receive healthy and suitable sacrificial animals," said Victor.
