Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Bali’s Ngurah Rai Customs Office foiled an attempt to smuggle 323.76 grams of cocaine by an Argentine national at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Badung, Bali.

“The suspect and the seized evidence have been handed over to the BNNP Bali,” said Bowo Pramoedito, the Head of Public Relations at Ngurah Rai Customs, on Wednesday (26/3/2025), referring to the National Narcotics Agency.

The suspect, a 46-year-old woman identified as GE, had concealed the drugs inside a condom wrapped in duct tape. She was arrested upon arrival from Dubai, UAE, on Tuesday.

Laboratory tests confirmed the substance as Category I cocaine, and authorities suspect additional individuals were involved.

"She admitted to delivering the drugs from Mexico for a promised $3,000 reward," Bowo added, as quoted by antaranews.com.

BNNP Bali and Customs officials are conducting further investigations to uncover the drug trafficking network.
