inp.polri.go.id - Bangka Belitung. The Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police showed their concern and commitment in improving community welfare through the Affordable Food Movement (GPM) program. This activity was held at the Pagarawan Village Football Field, Bangka Regency (8/19/2025)
This movement was led directly by the Director of Community Development of the Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ridwan Raja Dewa, and aimed to maintain the stability of food supplies and prices, especially rice, among the community.
In this activity, police sell various basic necessities at very affordable prices. The prices were set far below market prices, significantly helping to ease the economic burden on residents.
Ridwan explained that this activity was part of the Indonesian National Police (INP) responsibility to help support the economic stability of the people.
"We held this program to support the economic stability of the people. We hope this activity will be very beneficial for the community," he said.
He also added that the Indonesian National Police (INP) duty is not limited to maintaining security, but also participating in improving the welfare of the Bangka Belitung community.
"We have a responsibility not only to ensure security but also to ensure the well-being of the community. We are grateful that this activity received full support from village officials and was enthusiastically welcomed by the residents of Pagarawan Village and the surrounding area," he added.
