Inp.polri.go.id - Serang. Banten Regional Police announced a series of leadership changes following official rotation orders issued through multiple Indonesian National Police (INP) telegrams on Saturday (27/6/2026).
The reshuffle affected senior officers and police chiefs across the province, with some promoted to new posts outside Banten.
Banten Police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Maruli Ahiles Hutapea confirmed the rotation, noting it is a routine process within the INP.
“Rotations and transfers are common in the police institution. They serve as organizational refreshment and career promotion. Handover of duties must be completed within 14 days of the telegram’s release,” he said.
Among the changes, Brigadier General Hendra Wirawan was promoted to the Head of Employee Supervision at the INP Human Resources Department. His position as Banten Police Deputy Chief was replaced by Senior Superintendent Iwan Saktiadi. Other key posts affected include Director of Water and Air Unit, Director of Intelligence, and several police office chiefs.
