Inp.polri.go.id – Banten. Banten Regional Police Chief and Regional leadership coordination forum reviews the election voting process of inmates in the Class II Prison in Serang City on Wednesday (14/02/24). Other than chief Inspector General Abdul Karim, there were also seen Banten Governor Al-Muktabar, Regional Military Commander 064, Brigadier General Fierman Sjarial Agustus and other regional figures. The Police Chief says that inmates also have the right to vote and they also have the role to determine the future of the state. “Every inmate has and is able to use their rights to vote. We have to remember that one vote is crucial for the future of Indonesia, so I hope my friends here can use their rights and not go abstain,” said Abdul Karim. In his closing remarks, he advised inmates to vote based on their hearts, to vote whoever they deemed fit to lead the country for the next five years. (ad/mz/pr/nm)
