inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Food Agency (Bapanas) continues to push regional areas to realize absorption of the deconcentration budget, because it has not reached the previously determined target.

“Local governments are urged to immediately realize the absorption of the deconcentration budget as we have not reached the determined target,” urged Deputy for Consumption Diversification and Food Security of Bapanas, Andriko Noto Susanto in a recording, on Wednesday (8/21/2024).

Quoted from RRI, Andriko says that the realization of the deconcentration budget currently is only at 49.62 percent or 155 million IDR while the target for July is supposed to be 60 percent and 70 percent for August.

Moreover, the regional government is also urged to accelerate the realization for programs related to inflation control.

According to the Bapanas record, there are five regions with the distribution below 30 percent, they are Southwest Papua, Central Papua, West Sumatra, Mountainous Papua, and South Papua.
