Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Member of Election Superviosy Body Herwyn JH Malonda implores the public to be wise in filtering informations to prevent misinformation and hoaxes. According to him, particularly on election, public has to reconfirm the facts for every information they get. His advice came as election is still vulnerable to black campaign, hoax, to disinformation. Moreover, in the era of advanced technology, every information could travel in almost an instant, which further reinforced the importance of being cautious and aware with the current situation. "It is hoped all of us could filter every information before we share it. Filter which information that is valid, and which information that should be stopped from being shared further," advise Herwyn through his written statement on Saturday (12/2/2023). Herwyn also implores legislative election participants would campaign in fair while they promote their programs to the wide public. "Well, as you know campaign is essentially conveying informations of goals and programs of the candidates. To present themselves as what kind of persons they are.
