Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. All ministries and Indonesian institutions currently are preparing to move to IKN, including the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu).

The Chairperson of Bawaslu Rahmat Bagja says that his State Civil Apparatus and staff will begin to move to Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in 2029.

“Maybe in 2029 we will begin our move to IKN,” says Rahmat quoted from RRI on Wednesday (4/17/2024).

In his statement, he explains that the reason Bawaslu is in the last batch in moving to IKN is because they have the responsibility in organizing the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election.

Rahmat also adds that he has instructed his party to prepare for the move. He also stressed to his staff not to request to be moved to Greater Jakarta Bawaslu.
