Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi met the VP Ma’ruf Amin on Wednesday (4/17/2024). In the meeting, Retno remarks about the consistency of Indonesia in supporting the independence of Palestine.

In her remarks, she firmly reject any rumors of Indonesia going to normalize its diplomatic relationship with the zionist regime of Israel

“So it is untrue that there are possibilities that we are going to normalize our diplomatic relationship with Israel. The Minister of Foreign Affairs has reported to the VP that Indonesia remains firm in its stance and will be consistent in it,” says the VP spokesperson, Masduki Baidlowi in his official statement on Wednesday (4/17/2024).

Furthermore, Masduki confirms VP full support on Retno stance in Palestine-Israel conflict.

“He also supports the consistency in supporting the two state solution. I believe it has become the principle, and effort that will be continuously supported by the VP,” continued Masduki.

On the other hand, Minister Retno also reported about the situation in the Iran-Israel conflict that is currently happening and Indonesia's role in the conflict.
