Bawaslu Warns Legislative Candidates to be Careful in Campaign

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) reminds legislative candidates to not force families to attach their campaign stickers at their front house as Bawaslu prepares strict punishment for those actions. “Sticking your campaign stickers at houses must not be forced, it is prohibited. Public campaign essentially has to be carried out voluntarily by the public. You must be aware with it as there are the law for this action,” warned Rahmat in South Jakarta on Thursday (12/7/2023). He also reminds the legislative candidates to scrap the ideas of food aid campaign as it is considered to be as money politics action. Public are implored by Rahmat Bagja to also participate in monitoring the election process during campaign period. If they ever found any violations, public are expected to report it immediately to Bawaslu.
