Inp.polri.go.id - Bengkalis. The Bengkalis Sub-regional Police held a free mass circumcision program for children from low-income families at Bantan Police office, Bengkalis District, Riau, on Wednesday (17/6/2026), as part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day celebrations.
“This health service reflects the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to serve the community, not only in maintaining security but also by providing direct social benefits,” said Bengkalis Police Chief Superintendent Fahrian Saleh Siregar, adding that the initiative strengthens ties between police and residents.
The event was attended by local officials, religious and community leaders, and families of the participants. Dozens of children underwent the procedure accompanied by their parents.
Datuk Sri Syaukani Al Karim, the Chairman of the Malay Customary Institution of Bengkalis, praised the program, saying it greatly helps underprivileged families.
