Inp.polri.go.id - Bengkulu. Bengkulu Regional Police announced the disclosure of 324 cases of theft, robbery, and motor vehicle theft across its jurisdiction during a press conference led by Bengkulu Police Chief Brigadier General Yudhi Sulistianto Wahid on Tuesday (2/6/2026)

“The theft, robbery, and motor vehicle crimes remain a serious concern as they target property and disrupt public safety. These findings guide us to intensify patrols, map vulnerable areas, and strengthen prevention and enforcement,” he said,

Police seized evidence including two cars, 12 motorcycles, 10 mobile phones, Rp55 million in cash, 29 sacks of fertilizer, a laptop, an electric bicycle, and 90 packs of cigarettes. A notable case involved BS, a repeat offender in vehicle theft, arrested within five hours of a report on 25 May 2026.

Chief Yudhi stressed that police will continue professional enforcement and urged the public to remain vigilant, secure vehicles, and report crimes via Polri’s 110 hotline or local stations.
