inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, emphasized that the budget for the Free Nutritional Meals Program (MBG) is used through a multi-layered mechanism involving various institutions to ensure transparency and accountability.

"The main principle in state budget management is that no process runs alone without oversight; you are never alone. Everything goes through a clear mechanism involving various parties," said the Head of BGN on Thursday (April 9, 2026).

He emphasized that the program planning stage is discussed through a tripartite forum involving BGN, the Ministry of National Development Planning, and the Ministry of Finance.

Furthermore, the budget deliberation process, including the unblocking of funds due to programs being included in national priorities, also follows the same mechanism.

"The budget deliberations and the unblocking process for priority programs are also conducted in a tripartite manner," said Dadan.

At the procurement stage, Dadan mentioned a review process by the government internal supervisory apparatus (APIP) to ensure all procedures comply with applicable regulations. The same applies to the payment process, which is closely monitored and must be approved by the Ministry of Finance.

"Everything in the payment process is approved by the Ministry of Finance," he said.

Meanwhile, technically, the role of the Ministry of National Development Planning focuses more on assessing program outputs (RO), rather than on detailed technical procurement specifications.
