inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Bank Indonesia (BI) has moved up the second phase of rupiah exchange reservations for the Java region through the PINTAR application. This adjustment was made due to high public enthusiasm for the 2026 Semarak Rupiah Ramadhan and Idul Fitri Blessings (SERAMBI) program.
The Head of BI's Communication Department, Ramdan Denny Prakoso, stated that reservations, previously scheduled for February 26, 2026, will now open earlier on February 24, 2026, and will continue until the quota is full. Meanwhile, for areas outside Java, reservations will remain open on February 27, 2026.
In the 2026 SERAMBI program, which runs until March 15, 2026, BI has prepared IDR 185.6 trillion in cash for the preparation of Eid al-Fitr. Of this amount, IDR 177 trillion is allocated to meet banking needs, including cash withdrawals through ATMs and branch offices.
For direct money exchange services to the public, Bank Indonesia has allocated IDR 8.6 trillion, with an exchange value of IDR 5.3 million per package. This service is available at 2,883 points, totaling 8,755 services, through mobile cash counters, commercial bank offices, and integrated services at several strategic locations.
In Jakarta specifically, the integrated exchange service is scheduled for March 12–15, 2026, at the GBK Basketball Hall in Senayan. Bank Indonesia hopes this schedule change will make it easier for the public to exchange money earlier ahead of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
