inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) is currently paying special attention to child protection issues through the National Anti-Narcotics Movement Starting with Drug-Free Children (Ananda Bersinar).

BNN Head, Suyudi Ario Seto, stated that the BNN and the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) have many programs that can be linked in efforts to protect the nation's future generations.

"This shared focus opens up ample opportunities for both institutions to develop various collaborative programs, including the commemoration of International Anti-Narcotics Day (HANI), which coincides with National Children's Day," said the BNN Head on Friday (6/19/2026).

Ananda Bersinar is a strategic program and national-scale educational campaign initiated by the BNN to protect young people from drug abuse from an early age.

He stated that the BNN is not holding a large ceremonial event for this year's HANI commemoration, and therefore wants to collaborate with the Ministry of PPPA to create activities that have a greater impact on community.

During the hearing, the two parties discussed plans for collaboration to commemorate National Children's Day and HANI 2026, while also exploring renewal of the partnership through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and a cooperation agreement (PKS).

Minister of PPPA Arifatul Choiri Fauzi welcomed the invitation and emphasized that both institutions share the same goal of protecting children from various threats, including narcotics.

"The goals we want to achieve are essentially the same. I see that many programs and efforts implemented by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection can be synergized with BNN programs to provide broader benefits," said Arifatul.
