Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) appreciates the Indonesian National Police (INP) for uncovering the case of misappropriation of subsidized diesel fuel distribution in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi. This disclosure is said to be evidence of good coordination between BPH Migas and INP in ensuring fuel distribution to the community.

"We would like to express our gratitude on behalf of BPH Migas to the ranks of tINP Criminal Investigation Unit for uncovering this case," said BPH Migas Secretary Patuan Alfon S in a press conference at the INP Criminal Investigation Unit HQ on Monday (3/3/2025).

He said that the evaluation would be carried out so that there would be no more loopholes for misappropriation of fuel distribution to the community. 

"This has also harmed consumers that are entitled to the subsidized fuel," he explained.

In addition, he said, coordination with the regional government would be carried out to ensure the amount of fuel needed.
