Inp.polri.go.id - Timika. State Health Insurance Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) President Director Ghufron Mukti said that residents of Timika, Central Papua, receive equitable healthcare services under the National Health Insurance (JKN) scheme.
“Every hospital must ensure all patients receive optimal care without any discrimination, especially between general patients and JKN participants,” Mukti said in a press statement on Saturday (7/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
He toured various hospital service points at Mitra Masyarakat hospital in Timika including the BPJS counter, eye clinic, inpatient wards, and specialized units.
Mukti also engaged with medical staff and hospital employees to better understand service implementation on the ground. Direct visits, he noted, are essential for identifying real challenges and addressing urgent needs in healthcare delivery.
