inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The deputy commander of the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Police Corps explained that the Brimob Corps is ready to secure the 2022 MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on 18-20 March 2022. The Brimob Police Corps will sterilize the racing arena and spectators, including anti-drone air security.
"We may have planned the situation, but it might be different in the field later. We have to work together, provide information to each other, about what happened," explained the Deputy Chief of the Police Mobile Brigade, Brigadier General Drs. Setyo Boedi Moempoeni Harso, S.H., M.Hum., in a written statement in Jakarta, Saturday (19/3).
He also explained that the Brimob Police Corps had prepared anti-riot and anti-anarchist troops. This was done as a safeguard for the high-intensity situation.
"We have to be able to control the field and the situation," he said.
The One-Star General hopes that the 2022 MotoGP event and security at the Mandalika International Circuit will run smoothly so that Indonesia will become much more ready to carry out other international agendas in the future.
"Hopefully it will run smoothly, and become more professional in carrying out international events," he concluded.
