Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State logistics agency Bulog has guaranteed that national rice reserves are safe ahead of a series of major religious holidays, including Lunar New Year, Nyepi Day of Silence, and the upcoming fasting month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H. 

Bulog’s Director of Operations, Andi Afdal, confirmed on Saturday (14/2/2026) that the agency currently holds 3.4 million tons of rice, supplemented by significant stocks of cooking oil and sugar.

"We are fully prepared for the holiday momentum. Bulog ensures that CBP is in a safe and sufficient condition to meet national demand," Director Afdal said, referring to the Government Rice Reserve, as quoted by antaranews.com.

To maintain price stability, Bulog is collaborating with the National Food Agency (Bapanas) to launch the Simultaneous National Cheap Food Movement (GPM) across 1,218 locations nationwide.
