inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Cathedral Church appreciates the security carried out by joint officers from the military and police during the series of Easter masses. Security was carried out for four full days. 

"We greatly appreciate the establishment of security posts and also all security activities starting from the Maundy Thursday, Good Friday services, until today. Everything has been running smoothly," said Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Cathedral Church Susyana Suwadie on Saturday (1/19/2025).

Susyana added that the Easter mass will end on Sunday, April 20, 2025. She hopes that security will continue to run smoothly until tomorrow.

"Hopefully until tomorrow on Easter, the church service can run smoothly around the Jakarta Cathedral area," she continued.

Susyana said that this security is often carried out when large services are held at the Cathedral Church. Moreover, the congregation who participates in the service is often overflowing.
