"On Eid al-Adha, all Muslims perform the sunnah prayers of Eid al-Adha in the morning, and sacrifice an animal, usually cows or goats, for those who can afford it. The meat from the animal then is distributed to those who are entitled to it. All of this is a way to get closer to Allah SWT by sincerely sharing with others," explained the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Jabar, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo. Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo also said that the meats from 862 sacrificial animals would be distributed to mosques, orphanages, motorcycle taxi drivers, Islamic boarding schools, institutions for the blind, the poor, and to the retirees. Kabid Humas Polda Jabar stated, to make the distribution of meats more wider, Polda Jabar and the ranks coordinated with community groups and communities to assist in the distribution so that it was right on target. "This is our moment to do more good deeds and share with the community. Due to that, we, Polda Jabar and ranks, would also like to take part in being able to share our sincerity with and to the community," explained Kabid Humas Polda Jabar.
