inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Director of Community Development Directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Harri Muharram Firmansyah, led the ceremony of National Awareness Day. 

In his speech, he emphasized that the ceremony is not only a formality for the police, but also a momentum for them to reflect on their duties and responsibilities in maintaining security and order in public.

“The dynamics of public security and order continue to change, particularly during Ramadan and Eid Al-fitr. We have to be ready  for various challenges such as the surging of crimes, public disturbances, brawls, illegal racing, to drug abuse,” says Harri on Monday (3/17/2025).

He further emphasized that coordination is important to maintain a conducive situation. In addition to the security aspect, he also highlighted the spike in prices of basic necessities due to increased demand during Ramadan and the flow of homecoming and return trips that require traffic management.

"The Indonesian National Police (INP) must ensure that food distribution remains smooth and prices remain stable. In addition, extra security is also needed to anticipate increased community activities, both in worship and other activities," he explained.

Harri also noted about the Beyond Trust Precision program in the first quarter of 2025, where the police are expected to increase public trust through various social activities. He invited all ranks to improve their relationship with the community through social service activities.

On the other hand, Harri also appreciates all personnel who have been dedicated and professional in maintaining security. He also thanked all personnel for their contribution in maintaining public safety.
