Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police Chief Senior Commander Reynold E.P. Hutagalung personally led security services and dialogue during a demonstration by the Universitas Indonesia Student Executive Board (BEM UI) in Dukuh Atas, Jakarta, on Wednesday (28/10/2026).

"Police have prioritized dialogic and humanistic service from the start in securing public expression activities," said Central Jakarta Police Chief Senior Superintendent Reynold E.P. Hutagalung.

Accompanied by Central Jakarta Military Commander Lieutenant Colonel Danang Waluyo, joint officers negotiated with rally representatives to shift the demonstration location to the front of the UOB Building instead of Bundaran HI roundabout, according to antaranews.com. 

Female police officers were deployed with welcoming banners, while authorities managed traffic closures from Dukuh Atas toward Bundaran HI  roundabout to maintain public order.
