Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police organized a public screening of the 2026 FIFA World Cup match between Switzerland and Qatar in front of its headquarters early Sunday morning (14/6/2026). 

The event, which began at 2 am, brought together police officers and local residents.

“This is not only about watching football, but also about building friendship and togetherness between the police and the community. We want to create a safe and positive atmosphere,” said Central Jakarta Police Chief Senior Superintendent. Dr. Reynold E.P. Hutagalung.

The match was shown on a videotron provided by the police. Officers maintained security throughout the event, which concluded without incident. The area around the Central Jakarta Police headquarters remained safe and orderly.

Police urged participants to uphold public order and contribute to keeping Central Jakarta secure and conducive during community activities.
