Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Central Java Regional Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) unit and with the Central Java Kicau Mania Community conducted a simultaneous clean water distribution operation across drought-stricken regions in Central Java on Tuesday (15/9/2026).
Battalions A, B, C, and D Pioneer deployed water tanker trucks and specialized water treatment vehicles to supply affected residents in Semarang City, Pati, Pekalongan, Sukoharjo, Sragen, Boyolali, Purworejo, and Cilacap regencies.
Dispatching the relief convoy from the Srondol Brimob Headquarters, Central Java Brimob Commander Senior Superintendent. Noor Hudaya said that the initiative directly addresses urgent water shortages facing local communities.
"This activity is proof of our shared concern regarding the drought currently affecting several areas in Central Java," he said.
Central Java Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Yuliyanto emphasized that the police presence extends beyond routine protection to actively relieving community hardship during environmental crises.
