inp.polri.go.id – The Central Java Police, along with the Resort Police, took action against hundreds of thousands of motorcycles that used loud exhaust. From that operation, the Police confiscated 147,380 loud exhausts. Central Java Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said that this operation had been carried out since January 2022. “I carried out this operation since January to carried out the order from the Central Java Police to took action against these loud exhausts. This was also approved by the Traffic Corps, Traffic Directorate, and Traffic Unit Resort Police of the ranks," he explained, Monday (9/19). Moreover, the loud exhaust is also disturb the others. "We will continue to secure traffic activities in Central Java," explained the Regional Police Chief. Meanwhile, Central Java Traffic Directorate, Commissioner Agus Suryo Nugroho, admitted that people still complains about the loud exhaust problem. For this reason, he asked the public to respect other road users by not using the loud exhaust. “Many people complained why the police don't take action against these loud exhaust, and now we have followed up those complaints by confiscating almost 146,000 loud exhausts throughout Central Java," explained the Director of Traffic of the Central Java Police.
