National Police Traffic Corps Provides Aids Throughout Indonesia

inp.polri.go.id – The National Police Traffic Corps distributed more than 100,000 food packages throughout Indonesia, including to the Bio Hok Tek Tjeng Sin Temple, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, Monday (19/9/22). The distribution of social assistance was carried out in order to welcome the 67th Traffic Day which was led directly by Commissioner Aries Syahbudin as Head of Sub-Directorate for Audit and Inspection of the Directorate of Security and Safety of National Police Traffic Corps. The provision was received directly by Liem Liliany Lontoh as the Head of Indonesian Confucian High Council (Matakin) of Jakarta. Commissioner Aries Syahbudin said this aids was given to orphans who were fostered by the Bio Hok Tek Tjeng Sin Temple. He hopes that this assistance can be the one thing that could harmonize and help economy of the community, especially around this temple. "Of the 107,200 food packages distributed by the National Police Traffic Corps throughout Indonesia, one of those distribution is to the orphans in this temple. We hope that this aid will be useful form them,” explained Commissioner Aries Syahbudin. Meanwhile, Mrs. Ws. Liem Liliany Lontoh expressed her gratitude for the provisions. She also appreciated the police for providing assistance to the other orphanage and the poor throughout Indonesia. "We truly appreciate this kind of program, because this is in line with the teachings of Confucianism, and in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. This assistance is indeed very useful for them,” she said. She also congratulates the 67th Anniversary for the National Police Traffic Corps. “Happy 67th Anniversary for the National Police Traffic Corps. I wish the corps would be much better in the future in serving the community,” she said.
