Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Java Regional Police Professional and Security Division and sub-regional police conducted simultaneous clean water distributions for residents affected by severe drought across Central Java on Wednesday (23/9/2026).

Organized to mark the 24th anniversary of the internal affairs division, water tanker fleets delivered tens of thousands of liters of clean water to water-scarce villages.

Distribution targets included Tejorejo Village in Kendal Regency receiving 10,000 liters, Alian District in Kebumen Regency receiving 20,000 liters, and Mrebet District in Purbalingga Regency receiving 20,000 liters.

"This social initiative ensures that internal affairs personnel fulfill oversight duties while providing direct humanitarian assistance to communities in need," said Central Java Police Head of Internal Affairs Senior Superintendent Saiful Anwar.

Central Java Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Yuliyanto added that the police forces will continue coordinating with local authorities to mitigate seasonal water shortages and provide essential public services during the dry season.
