Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Central Java Regional Police confirmed full implementation of the official ban on electronic cigarettes, or vape, for all police officers and civil servants across the region, aligned with recent Indonesian National Police (INP) headquarters directives, official sources reported in Semarang on Monday (2/11/2026).
"Officers proven to violate this directive will face strict sanctions in accordance with established internal police regulations," said Central Java Regional Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Yuliyanto.
He said that the policy aligns with priority programs established by Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Roy Hardi Siahaan, including the Drug-Free Village (Desa Bersinar) initiative and the Unemployment-Caring Police (Poliran) scheme.
By prohibiting vape internally, the Central Java Police command aims to reinforce internal discipline, set a public example, and prevent modern liquid narcotics abuse from penetrating police ranks, according to antaranews.com.
