Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Central Java Police have identified potential suspects in the alleged bullying case involving the Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) at Diponegoro University (Undip) in Semarang.

Senior Superintendent Artanto, the Head of Public Relations for the Central Java Police, announced on Tuesday (15/10/2024) that the Criminal Investigation Directorate would hold a case examination to determine the suspects.

The investigation escalated to a full inquiry on 7 October 2024. However, the number of suspects to be named has not been disclosed. So far, investigators have interviewed 48 witnesses, including senior and junior doctors from the program.

The case gained attention following the tragic death of a PPDS student, identified as AR, who was found dead in her boarding house on 12 August 2024. Her death is suspected to be linked to bullying in her educational environment.

The family reported the bullying allegations to the Central Java Police on 4 September 2024.
