Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) will recruit graduates from agricultural vocational schools for the 2025 recruitment cycle through the Special Competency Bintara (Bakomsus) program.

This initiative supports the vision of President-elect Prabowo Subianto in achieving food security.

"The 2025 recruitment opens opportunities for agricultural vocational school graduates as part of our commitment to supporting the government in ensuring food security," Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, the Assistant to the INP Chief for Human Resources, said  during a coordination meeting with 34 regional police human resources heads on Tuesday (15/10/2024)..

In addition to recruitment, he instructed all regional police to plant corn simultaneously to bolster food security efforts.

Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman welcomed this initiative, highlighting Indonesia’s fertile resources and skilled workforce, particularly from Generation Z. He emphasized the importance of police involvement in ensuring equitable distribution of aid and preventing misuse of agricultural subsidies.

In April 2024, the INP and the Ministry of Agriculture signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in agricultural development and food security initiatives.
