Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Tennis player Christopher Rungkat has won the ITF M25 Taipei doubles title for two weeks in a row, partnering with Thailand's Pruchya Isaro. 

They won the final of the second week on Saturday (10/8/2024) at Taipei Tennis Center, defeating Sai Karteek Reddy Ganta (India) and Wishaya Trongcharoenchaikul (Thailand) 7-6(7/4), 7-5, according to antaranews.com.

Christopher said on Sunday (11/8/2024) that the victory boosts his ranking, potentially moving him from around 360 to a position closer to 290, enhancing his prospects for the ATP Challenger circuit.

Christopher, aged 34, now has four titles this year. His first win was at ITF M25 Chennai with Francis Casey Alcantara, followed by two titles with Isaro at ITF M15 Nakhon Si Thammarat and ITF M25 Taipei (first week).

Het plans to compete in the Jinan International Open (ATP Challenger) in China fron 19 August 2024, and will also participate in ITF M15 and M25 Bali tournaments in early September before the Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXI in Banda Aceh.
