inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto stated that the Free Health Check (CKG) program has reached 108 million people since its launch in February 2025.

"Since its launch in February 2025, the Free Health Check program has reached 108 million people," Prabowo said in his state address at the 2026 Annual Session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) and the House of Representatives (DPR) at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday (8/14/2026).

The President detailed that in 2025, 70.2 million people participated in the CKG program. By the end of June 2026, the number of participants had reached 59.5 million.

Prabowo stated that the program is a government effort to maintain public health through early detection before diseases develop into more serious illnesses.

"The state must protect the health of its people before they become seriously ill," Prabowo said.

The President stated that CKG services are now available at 10,255 community health centers across 38 provinces. The government, Prabowo said, will continue to improve the implementation of the program to ensure it is better and reaches a wider community.

However, Prabowo acknowledged that some people are still reluctant to undergo health checks for fear of discovering their illnesses.

"Some of our people are afraid to undergo health checks, afraid of finding out what their illness is," he said.

Prabowo even joked about the habit of undergoing health checks, alluding to members of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI).

"Perhaps members of the DPR RI haven't had their health checked either. Most of their blood sugar levels are definitely high, especially those from Central Java," Prabowo said with a smile.
