inp.polri.go.id - Riau Police Chief, Inspector General of Police, M Iqbal, through a zoom meeting which was attended by the Head of Indragiri Hulu Police Commissioner Bachtiar Alponso, conveyed that they will hold Covid-19 vaccination which have the target of 26,000 doses. It is hoped that this target can be achieved by cooperating with health workers throughout Riau. The vaccination zoom meeting was held in commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The vaccination was held at the Tugu Lima Traffic Post, Kampung Dagang Village, Rengat Sub-district, Wednesday (16/08/22). The Two-Star General hoped that the booster vaccination in Riau could reach 80% through this vaccinations program. The vaccination program is a collaboration between the Riau Police with the Regional Intelligence Agency Unit, and the 031 WB Military Resort Command to welcome the 77th independence of the Republic of Indonesia and was held from August 14-16. Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of Riau, Edy Afrizal Natar Nasution expressed his support for the activity, because without the assistance of the TNI and Polri, they could not reach the target.
