inp.polri.go.id - The North Kalimantan Regional Police emphasizes vigilance against radicalism and terrorism. This message was conveyed by the North Kalimantan Police Chief, Inspector General of Police, Daniel Adityajaya in front of University of Borneo Tarakan students, Tuesday (16/08/22).
He explained that the notion of radicalism and terrorism can affect anyone, including TNI-Police personnel. Therefore, he invites them to jointly anticipate this.
"So it is hoped that all students understand and aware of terrorism and radicalism," said the Two-Star General.
Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya said that this vigilance against radicalism and terrorism is clearly stated in Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution. and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. This three basic foundations of Indonesia is the shield against radicalism and terrorism.
“It means it was already clear what we should do. All that’s left is how we implement it in real life on how to prevent radicalism and terrorism,” he said.
He also reminded that the main responsible of the students is to study.
“But of course you can still do rally and demonstration as long as you follow the applicable rules,” concluded the Inspector General of Police.
