inp.polri.go.id – Palangka Raya. In commemorating World Human Rights Day, Central Kalimantan Regional Police held a Protest Speech competition of the 2021 Chief of National Police Cup at the Barigas field of Central Kalimantan Regional Police Headquarter on Saturday (04/12/21).
The event was attended by Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nanang Avianto, represented by the Deputy Chief, Police Brigadier General Ida Oetari Poernamasasi, Regional Superintendent of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Iman Prijantoro, Primary Officials of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, and the Chief of Departmental Police under the Central Kalimantan Regional Police.
Six teams of the Protest Speech Competition are from the BEM UPR, Pemuda Bersatu, HMI Palangka Raya, DPK FKPI UPR, UKRIP Palangka Raya, and Muhammadiyah University of Palangka Raya.
Chief of PR Agency of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner K Eko Saputro, addressed that this competition is held to commemorate World Human Rights Day.
"This Protest Speech Competition aims to provide space to the public and students in addressing their aspiration and expression in accordance to regulations and laws", Chief of PR Agency Central Kalimantan Regional Police.
Chief of PR Agency of Central Kalimantan Regional Police also added that, from jury scoring, the team from Muhammadiyah University grabbed first place. The second place is taken by BEM of Christian University of Palangka Raya, and the third one by DPK FKIP UPR.
"From the results, the first-place team would represent Central Kalimantan Regional Police in the form of protest speech videotapes to compete at the national competition in Jakarta on December 10", the Chief of PR Agency of Central Kalimantan Regional Police concluded.
