The Minister of Communication and Informatics Budi Arie Setiadi underscores his party is ready to secure the digital space security in support of smooth Regional Head Election. Through the narration of Peaceful Regional Head Election, the ministry invites voters, particularly the youths, to create an election atmosphere that is full of peace and safe. “This narration invites voters, particularly the youths, to create Regional Head Election atmosphere that is safe and peaceful, while also boosting the attention of youths for the future of the state through proper strategic planning,” says the minister. The minister explains that the narration is also serve as the answer for various election problems, such as voter participation rate, polarization, and the spread of hoax or misinformation. Additionally, the ministry will amplify the narration through social media, collaboration with partners, and collaboration with mass media to produce positive information related to the election. Moreover, the ministry will also cooperate with related stakeholders and other ministries for various programs such as discussion forum, audio/radio content production, and hoax handling. “We will coordinate with public broadcasting institutions, private broadcasting institutions and the National News Agency (LKBN) in publicizing the socialization of the 2024 peaceful regional elections," said the Minister of Communication and Information.
