Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs launched a comprehensive investigation on Friday (16/4/2026) following a suspected data leak within the Indonesia Game Rating System (IGRS) that exposed unreleased game titles and developer credentials in Jakarta.

"We are currently conducting a thorough investigation across our policies, technology, and human resources to eliminate public speculation regarding these security vulnerabilities," said Sonny Hendra Sudaryana, the Ministry’s Director of Digital Ecosystem Development., as reported by antaranews.com.

The probe began after private submission materials, including gameplay footage of unreleased titles like "007: First Light" and Bandai Namco’s "Echoes of Aincrad," appeared online. Reports suggest a system flaw allowed public access to sensitive files and thousands of developer email addresses.

As a precautionary measure, the ministry has suspended all IGRS rating processes. This suspension ensures the system’s integrity is restored before resuming operations, maintaining credibility for both international publishers and the domestic gaming industry.
