Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Central Java Regional Police emphasized the importance of cooling system for 2024 General Elections, said Grand Commissioner Iqbal Alqudusy. The Chief of Central Java Regional Police Public Relations states that state’s security is vulnerable to disturbances as tension rises during elections period. “Public relations have an integral role in detecting and overcoming conflict potentials in the community. The cooling system must be able to ease the tension and create a constructive open dialogue that involves various parties,” said Iqbal in a Focus Group Discussion with the theme of “Optimizing Public Relations Role as a Cooling System for a Conducive 2024 Elections”. Moreover, Iqbal ensures that educational messages should be conveyed clearly and on-point, in which requires a strong cooperation with media, influencers, and community organization. “Through joint operation, we could create a conducive situation in safeguarding social stability and ensure that democracy could go smoothly and fair,” quote the Central Java Regional Police Public Relations Chief.
