inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said that justice is very important and is the basic capital for creating prosperity for all Indonesian people.
According to AHY, a concrete form of justice for the people is the provision of a proper place of living for them, including those who have been living under the bridges for years.
He saw that the issue of places of living is a real issue and has a deep connection to realizing justice for all Indonesian people.
He noted that Indonesia has been an independent country for 79 years and issues related to justice in the secondary needs provision are still homework for the government to resolve immediately and find solutions. Until now, there are still many residents who have not felt the welfare of food, clothing, or shelter.
"We always remind them that shelter is one of the most basic human needs. So we must act immediately to resolve this issues such as relocating the people who have been living under the bridges and highway to a better place such as flats,” explains AHY.
Coordinating Minister AHY said that the relocation of a number of residents living under toll roads and under bridges to the Rawa Buaya Flats (Rusun), West Jakarta, is expected to improve the quality of life.
Not only being moved to the flats, residents will also be given skills to be ready to work so that they do not return to live under the bridge.
The Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development continues to be committed to working with other ministries and institutions to build decent housing for the community.
