The Coordinating Minister of Politics, Law, and Security Hadi Tjahjanto summons the high officials of Indonesian Military Force (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (INP) to discuss about the security of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr. “I have summoned TNI, INP, and we have discussed it. We will make sure the activities on Eid Al-Fitr is going safely and smoothly,” said Hadi on Wednesday (2/28/2024). Additionally, he explains that the security personnel will not only provide more security during the holy month of Ramadan, but also its homecoming season. On the other hand, other than communicating with TNI and INP, Hadi also communicated with several religious figures. The initiative step was taken so that they would support the joint security officials in building safe, peace, and harmonious situation during Ramadan. “Although we are shifting our focus in securing the situation during Ramadan, we will continue our monitoring on election process from election dispute process to other dynamics that might occur to go smoothly,” conclude Hadi.
