In recognition of their outstanding cooperation and contribution to both domestic and international law enforcement efforts, the Director of Narcotics Interdiction at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Syarif Hidayat, presented an award from the World Customs Organization to the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Department.
"Today marks a significant occasion where we acknowledge the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate as our exceptional partner, providing continuous cooperation and support that greatly facilitates the enforcement of the Narcotics Law No. 35 of 2009," he said on Thursday (22/02/24).
Syarif hoped that the exemplary collaboration witnessed thus far would continue to strengthen in the future.
Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa, the Director of the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate thanked the recognition received from the World Customs Organization.
He emphasized that the award highlights the cooperation between law enforcement agencies, particularly between the police narcotics units and customs authorities in Indonesia.
Mukti expressed optimism that this acknowledgment signifies a collective success, underscoring the ongoing joint efforts to combat drug trafficking in Indonesia.
