They arrested Afrika Heluka from the Heluka Old Coffee group and Toni Wetapo, also known as Toni Giban, from the Yotam Bugiangge group, along with six others.
Afrika was involved in various fatal shootings from 2022 to 2023, while Toni was linked to a gold mine massacre on 16 October 2023, and the Wings Air shooting.
Superintendent Faizal Ramdhani, Chief of the Task Force, confirmed the arrest, adding that the operation yielded confiscated weapons and evidence.
Superintendent Bayu Suseno, the Head of the Task Force's Public Relations Unit, emphasized its role in preventing future violence and ensuring community safety.
