inp.polri.go.id - Puncak Jaya. The 2025 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force, in conjunction with the Puncak Jaya Sub-regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit, conducted a crime scene reconstruction of the shooting of the late Brigadier Ronal M. Enok in Lima-Lima Village, Pagaleme District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Monday (8/18/2025).
During the reconstruction, the investigative team, led by the Head of the Investigation Unit of the Law Enforcement Task Force, Police Senior Inspector Safri Panterengi, reconstructed the positions of the victim, perpetrator, evidence, and distances around the scene.
This crime scene reconstruction was conducted to clarify the chronology of the shooting incident that occurred on January 21, 2025, resulting in the death of Brigadier Ronal.
The crime scene investigation identified several key points, including the victim's position while lying on the ground, the victim's motorcycle, helmet, and jerry can of kerosene; the position of the perpetrator, Kindiku Tabuni, also known as Gumbanak, when he shot the victim; and the location of the vehicle used by another perpetrator, Konara Enumbi, who was apprehended at a honai (house) in Usir Depan Village, Puncak Jaya Regency.
Konara is suspected of being directly involved in the action alongside the armed criminal group (KKB) led by Bumiwalo Telenggen. He is currently in custody and undergoing further questioning by Puncak Jaya Police investigators.
Furthermore, three 9mm bullet casings and two gold-colored projectiles were recovered, which are considered important evidence.
The team also recorded detailed distances between the victim's positions to the locations where the evidence was found. This data will strengthen the investigation and legal evidence against the perpetrators.
